Web Design Services
The basics explained...
There are three basic things you need to have a website:
Domain Name
A domain is the address used to access a website (ie. www.yourdomain.com).
Hosting Provider
Hosting refers to the space on a server where your website is stored online.
Website Files
The website files are all the graphics, elements and files such as HTML, CSS, JPG that make up your website online.
And that's it!
When these three elements interact together they create a website. The "website files" are stored on the "hosting" space and they can be viewed as a website when the online user types in the "domain name" in the browser's address bar.
Additional Features
At BlackStone Studio, I create custom websites, so aside from the basic static pages we can also include added features such as integrating a WordPress blog, installing our online store interface, creating a custom content management system and more!
