When I first discovered HGTV, I became obsessed with DIY projects. I was convinced that my side hustle would be restoring old furniture! While there are many people with a talent for that, I quickly discovered that I did not possess the qualities necessary for that type of job. I lack the time, the physical effort, and the patience needed for it. After some significant DIY project fails, I decided to stop trying to do it MYSELF, and I reached out to people who were great at it. So, if you’ve been trying to design a logo, a flyer or a postcard on your own and you are finding yourself stuck… please consider reaching out to me! I may not be good at DIY, but I am skilled at designing logos and branded collateral materials, and I’d be more than happy to help!
I have a confession to make: although I love a good theme, I really don’t like dressing up in costume. That, plus my inability to watch scary movies, really doesn’t make Halloween a holiday I look forward to. However, there is ONE fun Halloween themed event that is ALWAYS fun to go to, and where costumes are entirely optional: The Real Estate Bash! I’m so happy with the new promo flyer I designed for the Bash, but I’m even more thrilled about what’s happening at the event this year… they are awarding a $10,000 scholarship to a deserving UTSA student!!! So if you have a chance to attend on October 21st, definitely do! You’ll have tons of fun. And, if you need a new flyer design, reach out and let’s talk!
What gets you motivated in the morning? Aside from my daily cup of coffee, working on an awesome design project is a sure way to get me fired up. Such is the case with this ad I designed for the IVECCS 2020 Symposium in St. Louis. There are three reasons why I love working with VECCS.
First of all, they give each event a different and fun theme—and I love a good design theme!
Second, because I really like the VECCS team. I genuinely enjoy working with them, especially their association manager, Sarah Kokernot, and their Finance Manager, Torey Reese!
And third, because the purpose of VECCS is to promote the advancement of knowledge and high standards of practice in veterinary emergency medicine and critical patient care. As a dog lover and owner, I’ve been in vet emergency rooms more than once, so I love that there is an organization that focuses on raising the level of emergency care for animals.

I absolutely love working on flyers! I was extra excited to work on this one as I had the pleasure of helping Shirley Nedock with both her logo and business cards earlier this summer. Flyers are not only a great way to reach new potential clients, but also a perfect means to provide a more detailed description of your services! Are you needing new flyers? If so, reach out to me and let’s talk!
On hot summer days like this one, I find it hard to stay focused inside my office while the sun is shining outside! Yet, I’m hard at work today and feeling grateful for two essential things… My air conditioner (it’s so hot out!), and all the fun flyers I’ve had the opportunity to create for Ashton Woods Homes. This latest one was especially great to work on since the event encouraged donations for the St. Judes Ranch for Children. Do you need help with flyer design? I love designing flyers! Let’s talk!
