This year, I noticed young creatives were ditching business cards for something stickier—literally. Die-cut stickers with funky cool designs appear to be the new calling card. The trend seemed to be in full swing at the latest Adobe Max Summit, where attendees proudly displayed their sticker “hauls” on social media. Interestingly, this hasn’t caught on in every field. In corporate and more traditional industries, and among older professionals, business cards are still a go-to. But in the creative world, exchanging branded stickers is gaining popularity. It just goes to show how, even in a digital age of QR codes, people still crave something tangible. I’ll always love a business card, but I’m all for stickers, too. There’s nothing quite like a real-world token to make a connection stick.
