I’m just not a fan… of raster effects in logo design

I’m just not a fan of raster effects in logo design

Gradients, blurs, or shadows can look cool, but if they can’t scale, print clearly, or translate to every format, I’m just not a fan.

But I am a fan of clean and flexible design. Let’s keep your logo design sharp, versatile, and looking consistent in any application.

Fancy raster effects on logos might look cool on screen, but they’re not always practical. If a logo can’t scale cleanly, print without pixelation, or work across different media, it’s bound to cause problems down the line. A strong logo should be sharp, simple, and versatile. It should be easy to use across various applications, including print, embroidery, signage, and more. While shadows or gradients can add visual interest to some designs, a logo should prioritize clarity, consistency, and usability.
