Most clients request a “refresh” for their brand every few years. Unlike a rebrand, which usually requires a major transformation to reposition a company or attract a new market, a design refresh is like maintenance—think of it like a fresh coat of paint. It could consist of updating marketing materials, switching out imagery, or tweaking your brand colors and fonts to keep your business looking modern and relevant. Whether working on a new brand or refreshing an existing one, I always aim to create a contemporary and cohesive feel throughout every piece. This year, I started working with Sistema Technologies, a Texas-based IT company that wanted to update its marketing materials with a cleaner, more professional look.
