The three things I’m known for as a graphic designer are fast turnaround times, cost-effective solutions, and high-quality design. While the trifecta is the ultimate sweet spot, there’s also plenty of work that falls between two of these qualities.
Every client has different needs, and every project has different priorities. Sometimes clients have the resources but not the time. Sometimes they have the time but want to keep costs down. Sometimes the work is simply upkeep rather than starting from scratch. And sometimes clients need someone dedicated to their projects for a set period of time.
The point is, everything has its place. Unlike the old “Good, Fast, Cheap” graphic we’ve all seen, this isn’t about making trade-offs. It’s about finding what works best for you and your project.
Fast Turnaround
+ Cost-Effective
Ideal for existing clients whose projects I created or know well, where the design foundation and workflow are already established.
Could be: editing, expanding, or reformatting existing work.
Cost-Effective
+ High Quality
Best for clients whose brand and workflow I’m still getting to know, as well as projects that I have a personal interest in.
Could be: new clients, causes I care about, or work that helps me grow.
Fast Turnaround
+ High Quality
Great for clients whose brand I’m familiar with and who have the resources to secure dedicated time for me to focus solely on their work.
Could be: rush projects, retainer programs, or VIP days.
The Trifecta
Perfect for clients with whom I’ve built long-standing relationships, where work is ongoing, processes are streamlined, or time is secured.
Could be: clients with weekly, monthly, or seasonal design needs.
