As solopreneurs, we wear all the hats. We love what we do, but we also understand that running a business involves much more than just our passion. We juggle a lot of different tasks and usually struggle with time management, productivity, and organization. That’s why I’m all about finding ways that make my work life easier and more efficient. With that in mind, I’m sharing a list of my favorite tools, apps, and services that I use every day in my business and that I can genuinely recommend.
A Few Of My Favorite Tools

Google Workspace Gmail
A business email software powered by Google.
It’s basically Gmail for business, and it is so much better than POP emails and more affordable than Exchange emails. It works just like the normal Gmail but with added features, such as using your own domain, extra storage, and customer support. One of my favorite things about it is how well it filters messages. I can check my emails without having to sort through endless spam.

Todoist
A cloud-based productivity and to-do list app.
You can organize and sort tasks by projects and sections, by date and time, marking them with labels, setting their priority and colors, and so much more. Basically, it gives you the flexibility to personalize your own system. It’s so easy to use, and it syncs across all your devices. One of my favorite features is that it integrates with Google Calendar, so I never have to record an event twice! Todoist keeps me organized on schedule!

Grammarly
A spelling, grammar, and writing checker.
You can use it online through a web editor, as an extension on your browser, or through an app on your computer or phone. It checks your spelling and grammar and enhances your writing with word suggestions and replacements. One of my favorite features is its plagiarism detector. Grammarly helps me write like a pro!

SiteGround
A web hosting company.
It’s one of the most reliable web hosts I’ve ever used. They are perfect for small businesses because they have a user-friendly interface and they offer managed WordPress hosting. One of my favorite things about them is their amazing customer service. They are easy to get ahold of and they are always very helpful. I can tell you from personal experience that excellent customer service from a hosting company is a rare find.

Crashplan
A cloud-based backup software.
It creates an encrypted copy of all your computer files and saves them securely in their cloud. It is easy to set up, and it works continuously in the background, backing up your data automatically. One of my favorite features is that it also works with external hard drives so I have peace of mind that all of my files are backed up and can be easily restored if needed.

Quickbooks Online
An online accounting software program.
It is an easy-to-use accounting program that is perfect for small businesses. You can create and send professional estimates and invoices, track expenses, accept payments, and more. One of my favorite things about it is that it’s cloud-based instead of installed on my computer. That means I can access it anytime using the Internet, which helps me manage my business finances and accounting more efficiently and quickly.

Skillshare
An online learning platform.
It features a vast collection of online classes on countless subjects. You can watch at your own pace, ask questions, and submit projects. One of my favorite things about it is that they don’t charge you per class. With a premium membership, you can take as many classes as you want! Having unlimited access to so many courses definitely encourages me to keep learning new skills!

Social Curator
A subscription service for social media content.
It gives you access to multiple resources that help you plan your social content quickly and effortlessly. They provide you with caption ideas, professional photos, and monthly action plans. One of my favorite features is their customizable captions. While I don’t always use their templates exactly as they are written, their examples help me find my voice in social media.

Audible
An audiobook subscription service by Amazon.
You can download and listen to books from many types of genres read by fantastic narrators. Their membership includes access to a huge collection of audiobooks, podcasts, and original content that you can download and listen to at no extra cost. One of my favorite features is that I can stream titles from any device, and they will sync wherever I stop, so I can easily listen to books while I work and never lose my place.

Canva
An online design and publishing platform.
It’s an excellent tool for business owners who are not designers but need an easy-to-use program to create graphics. I use it to put together custom editable templates for my clients, which they can easily update themselves without having a professional design program. One of my favorite features is having the ability to share a template link directly with my clients, so there is no need for them to worry about uploads or file settings.

RightFont
A font manager app for Mac.
You can install, organize, activate, deactivate and preview your font files. It’s easy to use and has a beautiful interface. One of my favorite features is that it syncs to both Google Fonts and Adobe Fonts, making it super easy to keep all my fonts easily accessible.

A search app that finds files or folders.
You can use it to locate files and folders on your computer or on your external hard drives. It’s easy to use and works very fast. One of my favorite features is that I can narrow the search to a particular area. Never misplace a file again!
