Cheers to the weekend, friends! This Sunday would have marked the end of the San Antonio Chamber Music Society‘s 77th season with a performance by the talented Parker String Quartet. Unfortunately, due to the developing global health crisis, this fantastic concert was postponed until next year. As I help design eblast announcements for the SACMS with details about the rescheduled date, I think about all the other events that have been canceled or postponed. It leaves our weekends feeling very similar to our weekdays.

None the less, I still love weekends because this year I made a commitment to myself to spend them more on self-care rather than using them to catch up on work. So whether it’s watching a movie, playing cards or doing a puzzle, I plan to enjoy my weekend. What are your weekend plans?
