Calling all creatives! Do you agree that your environment impacts the flow of ideas? If you’re like me, you need a space that’s conducive to creativity. As a graphic designer, I’ve tested out quite a few places, but here are a few of my favorites:

My office—I’ve made my workspace a place that I love to be at! It has a large window that lets all the bright sunshine in, an extra-long white desk that fits all my devices and tools nicely, and a collection of visually interesting artwork on the walls. Add some music and my dogs by my side, and it’s the best creative environment for me!
The floor—really! Just sitting (or laying down) on the floor of any room helps me look at things from a new and unexpected perspective. I can’t work from the floor for very long, but it’s a great spot for ideas to spark.
Outside—whether it be in my backyard or a coffee shop patio, being outdoors makes my mind feel less cluttered, more focused, and free.
Your turn! Let me know where you like to go to jumpstart your creativity!
