From scorching heat last summer to freezing cold last week, and now pouring rain! Do you prefer one climate over another? When it’s too hot, I say I like winter. When it’s too cold, I dream of summer. When we are in a drought, I pray for rain… but when it’s raining, I’m moody and sad. I’ve come to the conclusion that what I really want is the sunshine of a summer day, blended with the mild temperatures of early spring, where it’s neither hot nor cold. The colors of fall with the coziness of winter. And a gentle night rain to keep the plants looking healthy, leaving only a bit of dew for the following day so we are not walking into muddy puddles. Is that too much to ask for?
