One of the questions I most frequently get from clients is: will I be able to edit this on my own? For a long time, they didn’t like my answer. I don’t usually release development files, also known as source files. These documents typically require a design program to be opened, such as Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop, which most clients don’t have or don’t know how to use.
However, today, with the help of online software like Canva, I can import my designs into a platform that clients can readily get access to and which is easy to use! Check out these social images I created for Wendy Bolerjack from Your Queen Bead! She can use them as is, but she can also edit the text or swap out the pictures using Canva. I designed the overall layout and then shared the template with her via a link. Then she can open it in her own Canva account and edit it freely. I can do this for social media images, postcards, and flyers! Reach out if you want to learn more about how this works!
